Members of Better Vision Better Hope (BVBH) visited Rivertree Academy in Fort Worth, TX to host a school wide vision clinic. BVBH had a big day. The entire school of students pre-k through 5th grade were screened for vision deficiencies. A total of 81 students underwent vision screenings. 20% of students tested were discovered to need correction.

Refractive error is the leading cause of correctable blindness world wide.

According to Prevent Blindness, approximately 1 in 4 adolescents in the U.S. that have correctable vision prescriptions do not have access to proper care.

BVBH is able to provide both vision screening events and vision exam events.

Contact BVBH if your school needs a vision screening event.
